Data Controller

Iulibooks (PLOTO) processes the personal data described below. For any questions regarding your data, write to Iulian_Sandu@outlook.com.

What data we collect

• Account: email address, display name, biography, and public author address (if you choose to make it public).
• Orders: recipient's name, delivery address, order value, and order status.
• Manuscripts: uploaded PDF files and covers, stored in a private space.
• Earnings: sales per book and payouts made to you.
• Technical: minimal error logs necessary to keep the website functional.

We do not store card details. Payments are processed entirely by our payment provider.

Why we use it

• Performance of a contract: order delivery, book printing, royalty payouts.
• Legal obligations: invoicing and accounting records.
• Legitimate interest: platform security and abuse prevention.
• Consent: non-essential cookies, if you accept them.

Who we share data with

• The payment processor, to collect payment for the order.
• The partner print shop (print-on-demand), which receives the delivery address and book files.
• The transactional email provider, for confirmations and notifications.
• Hosting and database providers.

We do not sell or rent personal data.

How long we retain data

Account data is kept for as long as the account remains active. Commercial documents are kept according to legal archiving periods. Unpublished manuscripts are deleted upon the author's request.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. You can exercise them directly from your account page, under the “My Data” section: you can download a copy of your data or submit an account deletion request. We respond within a maximum of 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP if you are not satisfied with our response.
